My name is Melissa, travel advisor and owner of Real World Travel. I'm a lover of people, great food, craft cocktails, and all things travel! When we travel, we get to experience new cultures, take in beautiful, inspiring scenery, and quite often we end up learning a thing or two about ourselves along the way!
My love of travel began the summer before my senior year in college when I spent 6 weeks studying International Business in Italy. On weekends I traveled by train to see as many neighboring countries as I could before returning to class on Monday. I was able to experience canyoning in Switzerland, bike riding in Germany, architecture in France, beaches in Greece and culinary masterpieces in Italy. Travel was something I had only dreamed of up to that point and then I was hooked!
Traveling brings me so much joy, that it has now become a permanent part of my life. Since my first trip to Europe, I've continued to explore this big beautiful world; gathering first hand experience to pass onto my clients! I truly love matching clients with the destination that is 'just right' for them, and connecting my travelers with people and cultures from around the world. My goal is always to provide my clients with a level of customer service that has them walking away feeling as if the whole vacation experience -beginning to end- was extraordinary!
